Wedding Entertainment and Pricing: Find What Works Best for You

While there are so many details to planning a wedding, probably the most fun part for couples is deciding on the entertainment options! Depending on the style of wedding, (ballroom, rustic, destination), you can have an array of activities that you and your guests can enjoy! Here’s some of our favorites!

Wedding band – there’s tons of variety here! Big band, country, cover bands, folk bands or other hired performers! Note: the larger the band, the pricier it may be. Also, make sure to check with the venue first to make sure what you want will fit. Starting at $500 (Professional 5 piece band!)

DJ – a fun way to have a wide variety of your favorite tracks, both new and old! Make sure to discuss song options prior to the event to ensure you have options for partying, slow dances and group dances! Starting at $195 for house parties and smaller events, $350 for wedding/MC services (uplighting also available for a VERY Low Price)

Karaoke - is such a fun way to incorporate you guests in the event and get your party rockin'. Let them request their favorite tunes and follow along to lyrics on a 24" monitor. Two microphones are offered for entertaining duets! Stating at $50 hour for smaller parties.... (DJ Included!)

Food Trucks – this is a great way to serve food to your guests and/or end the evening with some tasty pretzels, cotton candy, doughnuts or chocolate treats! If it’s an outdoor food truck, make sure you coordinate with your venue and you have all the necessary permits! $TBA

Photo booth – one of our personal favorites! A great way for you and your guests to have fun memories from the night. Starting at $70/hour with TONS of Props and Unlimited prints on customized templates!

Magician - Another favorite of mine because I just LOVE street magic! A strolling magician is another fun way to keep your guests entertained thoughout the evening and will make your event one to remember. Starting at $150 for 2 hours

"Cirque" Acrobats - There are many unique performance groups that embody the spirit of the circus in a modern setting. Ground acts include contortion and hoop dancing, but also can include dancers and wandering characters who engage and entertain your audience. They can be an exciting "up close" experience for your guests while aerial performers become living art in the air. Whether on hammock, aerial hoop, silks, or trapeze, aerialists create the perfect ambiance for any event. Pricing TBD based on needs

Ethnic dancer(s) - another unique and very memorable addition to any event. Hula, Tahitian, Fire and Knife dancing available. Also a very nice touch esspecially if the bride or groom's culture is being represented. Starting at $75 for 30 min.

Kids activities (caricatures, balloon artist face painter, or babysitter) – For a wedding with lots of young kids, it’s helpful to have some activities that can keep them occupied in a safe manner. Arranging for guests to get caricatures done or having a small room or suite full of games supervised by a babysitter can help couples relieve their parental role for a brief time! Balloon artist/face painter starting at 110 for 2 hours, Caricaturist starting at $95/hour, Babysitter $20 hour
